Who we are

Lamante provides a website and mobile apps for browsing patisserie products and placing orders. This policy covers the website, Android app and iPhone app.

Information we collect

When you place an order, we collect the information needed to prepare and manage that order: your name, phone number, email address, order note, selected products, order total and pickup date/time.

Authorised staff use an email and password to sign in and manage products, prices, descriptions, production time, working hours, pickup availability, orders and customer messages. The same staff account and business data can be used on Android and iPhone.

How we use information

We use order information only to receive orders, prepare products, calculate pickup availability, contact customers about their orders and administer the Lamante catalog.

Third-party services

Lamante uses Firebase Authentication for staff login, Cloud Firestore for catalog, calendar, order and message data, and Cloud Functions to process orders and email. Firebase Cloud Messaging and, on iPhone, Apple Push Notification service deliver staff notifications. Device registration tokens and installation identifiers are used for notification delivery. Email is handled through Hostinger. Product photographs are included with the app or website; the current administration screens do not upload photographs.

Information on your device

The app keeps your basket and contact draft on your device so that you can return to an unfinished order. Drafts expire after one hour. A submitted order awaiting confirmation is kept until its result is resolved, to help prevent duplicate orders. The iPhone app also keeps recent receipts on the device. These locally saved receipts are not automatically transferred when you change phones. Staff business records remain available through the staff account.

You can turn notifications off in your phone settings. Signing out on one phone does not sign out another phone.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising tracking, profiling, or third-party advertising SDKs.

Data retention and deletion

Completed or cancelled order records may be retained for an operational period and can be deleted after they are no longer needed. To ask about privacy or request deletion of your order data, contact info@lamantepatisserie.com or reply to your order conversation.
